Summary : Byung Myungrok (Kim Seong Hyeon) and Hoo Se In (Park So Eun) met in detention back in high school, since then they started started  spending a lot of time together. It turns out that they really connect with each other. They were friends at first, but it didn’t took them long before things escalated and they started dating each other.Sadly their loving relationship didn’t last long, as they broke up in their senior year because Se In got bullied really badly and people started creating rumours about her and their relationship. Se In couldn’t handle the pressure which led to their separation.

They went their separate ways after high school and didn’t contact each other at all until the both of the were invited to attend a small high school reunion get together. There, Myungrok was reminded of how he felt back in high school and confessed to Se In that he still likes her. They started dating again after the small reunion and also working at the same place. Just like high school there are always people in the way of their relationship, In this situation that person is Kim Jane (Kang Da Hyun), she was Myungrok ‘s student back when he was tutoring during his Collage years who started working in Myungrok and Se In’s work place. Myungrok’s “dark” past with Jane made him confused and unsure of his feelings of Se In. Myungrok decided to take a break from their relationship because he needs to reassure his feelings and clear some things up. It did not take him long to realise that Se In is the one he truly love and they ended up married and was blessed with a son.

We agree to this situation as this kind of situation also appeared in the play Mid Summer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare where Lysander and Hermia wasn’t able to live a happy life together as what they wanted due to the people around them. First was Hermia’s father and second was a spell that makes Lysander fell in love with someone else. They had to go through some hardships just so they can be together. Where Hermia’s father finally let her get married to Lysander and Lysander’s spell was finally broken and he finally comes back to his true love, Hermia. This situation shows how unfair the world is and how nothing comes for free. The same situation happen in the book The Odyssey where Odysseus was separated from his wife and son for a very long time, going through some really tough challenges and facing more challenges when he finally arrived in his home town. In this story, Odysseus also had to be with another girl other than his wife since he was trapped in an island by her. But, at the end he came back to his wife and son and lived happily ever after. This situation shows that in true love it’s kind of difficult to be loyal and maintain your feelings towards another person because in life we face challenges such as another girl/boy and there are people who will constantly judge and critic us for our decisions, etc.
